I would recreate the wedge by enlongating the structure toward the railing so there is no gap. I would put a plant in between the structure and the chairs there so that people don’t want to go through the seating area and the wedge structure. People will be forced to go around and walk like how normal people would instead of trying to create a short cut that causes a bit of traffic, so is it really a short cut? I thought enlongating the structure would be a good idea to just eliminate the wedge. I feel like students will not like this because students are lazy and students do not like change. The construction for this might cause more traffic and then the fact that they can’t take short cuts may annoy them.
